The GCFVF Abolishes LATE FEES

Breaking: The founder and Organizer of the Gulf Coast Film & Video Festival, Mr. Hal Wixon and team are making strides to make things easier for filmmakers to be able to enter their projects to the festival. In these trying time and a move to stimulate movie entries, The GCFVF will NOW forgo late fees. Filmmakers NOW have a chance to enter their project throughout the open call for regular deadline Fees. Worldfest-Houston Kicks off TODAY.

The 48th Annual Worldfest-Houston Independent International Film Festival starts TODAY (Friday, April 10th) starting at 7pm at the AMC Studio 30-Dunvale Theater (2949 Dunvale, Houston, TX 77063). Opening night feature movie is Director Ante Novakovic's "Leaves of the Tree" http://worldfest.org/features-schedule/?e=62136&b=1 The writer and producer David Healy lives right here in Houston. Stars: Eric Roberts, Sean Young, Federico Castelluccio and Armand Assante.  Ms. Young (Blade Runner) will be there in person and will accept Worldfest-Houston's Remi Achievement Award. Worldfest-Houston International Film Festival and Organizer Hunter Todd threw the last of their wine reception for the season Thursday, April 9th. Worldfest Houston Kicks-off Friday, April 10th at 7PM at the AMC Studio 30-Dunvale theater. Opening night feature movie "The Leaves of the Tree". Celebrity Ernie Manouse to MC/Host the GCFVF September 12th.

C47Houston Breaking: The Gulf Coast Film & Video Festival is pleased to announce that Houston Public Media celebrity Ernie Manouse of "InnerVIEWS with Ernie Manouse" is scheduled to be the Master of Ceremony and host at this year's GCFVF Saturday Night "Live" Cascade Awards coming up Saturday, September 12th at the Sundance Grill in Kemah. Tickets are on-sale. Also, scheduled to appear and accept the the GCFVF 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award Actor Lew Temple. It's going to be a very wonderful night for entertaining and stars.
