Worldfest-Houston Sunday April 12, 2015


We are back from the Sunday, April 12th screening of one-of-a-kind movies from all over the world. Both the Sci-Fi and Horror/Thriller shorts blocks were excellent. It was good to get to meet some very creative directors. WE met Actor Cameron Brezik, Actress Nichole Caballos, Producer Ron Gelner and Director Damir Catic of "The Lost". We met Director Levenson Jones of "Life in Between". We met Cinematographer Russ Cramer and Director Annika Kurnick of "Molly Takes a Trip". We met Writer Paul Nguyen and Director Timonthy Nguyen of "Titanica" and Co-Director/Writer Rabbi Manis Friedman.  Also, we bumped into Writer T.K, Henderson. She wrote the feature screenplay, "Steps of Faith". Organizer and the founder of Worldfest-Houston, Mr. Hunter Todd presented the team with a Platinum Remi Award for best Independent Theatrical Feature Awards "Low Budget" Category. Director M. Legend Brown was not there to accept the award due to filming conflicts...as it should be... Congratulations to the Team. WorldFest-Houston Continues through Sunday, April 19th. Worldfest-Houston Continues Sunday 04-12-15


WorldFest-Houston continues starting at 1PM with short films, Student Shorts, SCIENCE FICTION SHORTS and Dramatic Shorts. Then another round of shorts starting at 3PM with Action Shorts, Documentary Shorts and Horror/Thriller Shorts. The starting at 5PM 3 Feature film "The Lost Key" by Ricardo Adler, "Walking to School" by Peng Chen and "Step of Faith" by M. Legend Brown. Then at 7PM "Flower Square by Krst0 Papic, "Vielo" by Daniel Tesfamariam and "Between the Lines" by Luisto Ignacio and finally at 9PM "Solitary" by Sasha Krane, "Psuedonym" by Thierry Sebban and "China Woman" by Lei Dan Tickets at the Customer Services or online at: www.Worldfest.org bring your camera, talk to Directors Learn something new. Worldfest-Houston Day 3 04-11-15


I am back from Worldfest-Houston day 2 at the AMC Studio 30-Dunvale theater (04-11-15). On the list for us was Texas Director Chip Hale's "Sweethearts of the Gridiron" all about the Texas Rangerettes. WE met Mr. Hale last night at the after-party. we also met Director Dave Armstrong "The Watchmaker's Apprentice", Director Peng Chen "Walking to School", Director Agneya Singh (M Cream), Director Greg Emetaz "Bowes Academy" and Producer Mikaela Addison (Sweethearts of the Gridiron) Pictures coming up Wednesday in our WEEKLY. Joseph Elmore Jr., in production of "Complx"


Great meeting with on one of Houston's best Filmmakers - Joseph Elmore Jr. of Elmore Vision Entertainment group early this afternoon. ("Speed Dating", "Maid to Kill" "Because I Love You") Currently Mr. Elmore is working on a series called “COMPLX” Scheduled to be released later this year, the series follows the complexities of relationships between men and women and the inner workings of ones own mind. Get on board with this series and with Director Joseph Elmore, Jr. This is going to be big! More to come!


WorldFest-Houston Opening Night 04-09-15


I am back from opening night of Worldfest-Houston (Friday, April 10th) at the AMC Studio 30-Dunvale and the premiere opening night feature of Director Ante Novakovic's "Leaves of the Tree" and the premiere of Director Lucas Martell's short film "The OceanMaker". both excellent examples of movie making. Met both directors and the procducer. Actress Sean Young was there to accept Worldfest-Houston's Remi Achievement Award. This was the scene and it was AWESOME. After party the DoubleTree Hotel-Greenway Plaza where filmmakers were all about talking film. The festival runs through Sunday, April 19th.
